Phuvaree Resort is on Sirirat Road, near the southern side of Patong rather than beside the main nightlife strip. The resort’s official site describes 80 rooms with private balconies overlooking the pool or garden. That sets up a particular type of stay: time around the property, with outings to the beach and centre rather than assuming every destination is immediately outside.
Booking.com places Simon Cabaret nearby and lists a shuttle towards Patong Beach. The existence of a listed shuttle does not establish a current timetable, so confirm the service if it is central to your plans. A guest who spends most afternoons at the pool will evaluate this address differently from someone who expects several trips each day to Jungceylon or Bangla Road.
Three categories create distinct choices
The official accommodation information distinguishes Deluxe Room, Premier Pool View and Premier Jacuzzi Room. The Deluxe is described as the entry category with a private balcony. Premier Pool View specifically looks towards the pool, while Premier Jacuzzi adds a private Jacuzzi on the balcony overlooking that area.
That last feature should be an explicit part of the booking if it is the attraction. An ordinary balcony is not interchangeable with a Jacuzzi terrace, and a pool-view photograph does not establish direct access to the water. A couple wanting to spend evenings on the balcony may see value in the upgrade; someone mainly using the room between excursions may prefer to spend the difference elsewhere.
What the guest reports actually describe
A June 2025 couple in a Premier Jacuzzi room liked the large balcony, room space and pool, while also saying the accommodation needed renewal and work was underway in a neighbouring building. Another guest that month was less happy with the quiet atmosphere and cleanliness around the pool. Those accounts are from 2025 and should not be presented as proof that the same renovation or problem continues today.
A later October 2025 Deluxe-room guest described a clean stay and appreciated an upgrade. A May visitor liked the calm setting and pool but reported a specific bathroom-cleanliness issue. The pattern is a property with useful resort features and varying individual experiences, not enough evidence to say every room has one fixed standard. The booked category and its current condition matter.
The pool and balcony are the main appeal
Booking.com lists an outdoor pool surrounded by deck chairs, a fitness room and in-room massage options. Its guest excerpts include praise for room size and the pool. Those features can make Phuvaree more appealing for a relaxed daytime routine than a similarly priced room in a busier commercial street.
The practical compromise is movement. If you will rely on a shuttle, verify departure times and where it drops you. If you prefer walking, check the actual route you expect to use rather than converting a map distance into a promise of an easy stroll. A location towards southern Patong can work well, but it should be chosen deliberately rather than discovered after arrival.
Where expectations should land
Phuvaree is worth comparing when a balcony and swimming pool are priorities and you do not need the nightlife strip at your doorstep. The Premier Jacuzzi category gives it a specific option for couples, while the ordinary room categories may offer better value for someone spending much of the trip outside.
Before paying, ask whether any work is scheduled near the chosen room block and confirm the facilities included in the actual category. Do not assume the old refurbishment accounts describe current conditions, and do not assume an upgrade reported by a guest is a standard benefit. The most useful comparison is a clearly specified room at Phuvaree against another hotel offering the same space and access, not merely the same star label.
