Duangjitt’s main distinction is the amount of garden around it. The official website describes grounds covering 36 acres, with tropical trees and flowering plants. That gives it a different feel on paper from a compact hotel built around one small courtyard. If you intend to spend time at the resort rather than only sleep there, the landscape and pool setting are a meaningful part of what you are buying.
The address is on Prachanukroh Road in southern Patong. The resort is close to the beach area and local shops, but the size of the property means the room’s position matters as well as the location of the entrance. A central map pin will not show how far you personally need to walk between your room, breakfast and the gate. Guests with limited walking tolerance should discuss that detail rather than assume a garden room means a short route everywhere.
Garden wing, bungalow or suite?
The official room list includes Deluxe Garden Wing, Premier Deluxe, Deluxe Gasalong, Grand Deluxe, two bungalow categories, Junior Suite and a duplex family suite. That range is a reason to compare the accommodation more carefully than the headline star rating. A bungalow and a room in a wing are different ways to use the grounds, while a duplex introduces a change of level that may matter to a family.
The attractive garden setting should not distract from the exact room product. Check the room name on the booking offer, current photographs of that category, bed arrangement and bathroom details. Paying more only makes sense if the feature you gain is something you will use. A different building or layout may be more valuable to you than a broad claim that a room is premium.
Recent guest accounts have both sides
A guest in a Deluxe Garden Wing Twin room in June 2026 liked the beautiful, quiet surroundings but reported an air-conditioning failure during the first night. Staff attempted a repair and then moved the guests to another room, which interrupted their sleep. That account is useful because it describes both the problem and the response; it is not evidence that every room has unreliable cooling.
A separate May 2026 guest in a Premier Deluxe King room enjoyed the stay but asked for attention to the condition of the bathtub and showerhead. Another returning guest from May praised the welcome from staff. Together, these accounts suggest why it is unhelpful to describe Duangjitt as uniformly perfect or uniformly tired. The gardens, service and room maintenance are different parts of the experience and can receive different reactions from the same traveller.
Pools and spending time on site
Pools appear prominently in the guest-review topics, and an independently displayed guest account on Klook praised the pool size and landscaped grounds. That supports treating the outdoor setting as more than decorative scenery. For a family with children who actually want to swim, it may be a stronger reason to choose Duangjitt than proximity to nightlife alone.
Meals also feature in positive feedback, including one guest’s appreciation of breakfast variety. That does not establish that breakfast is included in every rate. Compare room-only and breakfast offers using your actual party size and children’s ages. The best-value package for one couple may not be the best for a family, particularly when room categories and meal inclusions differ.
Who benefits from the bigger layout
Duangjitt suits travellers who want an established garden resort within Patong rather than a room directly over a busy shopping street. The most convincing use of the property is a mix of outings and unhurried time in the grounds. Someone who wants a very small hotel or the shortest possible path from room to street may prefer a different layout.
Before paying, make the important requests specific: the right room wing, manageable walking distance, suitable beds and any accessibility needs. The recent maintenance comments justify checking the room at arrival, while the positive return-guest account shows that the same resort can also deliver an enjoyable repeat stay.
