Blue Sky Residence — Editorial review

Editorial review · 381 words · 2 min read · Editorial date 9 December 2025

A small Nanai Road property with a pool and balconies, away from the beach road. The limited recent guest evidence is sharply divided, so room condition deserves particular attention.

Nanai Road changes the location comparison

Blue Sky Residence is at 205/19 Nanai Road in Patong. It is separate from the similarly named Blue Sky Residence Airport hotel near Bangkok, whose reviews should not be used for this property. Booking.com lists an outdoor pool, a garden and private parking, with air-conditioned accommodation and balconies.

The address is inland rather than directly on Patong’s beach road. For someone seeking a smaller property and neighbourhood services, that may be part of the attraction. For a traveller whose priority is stepping straight onto the sand or returning repeatedly from central nightlife, the actual route matters. Do not treat the word Patong as proof of an identical location to every beach-front hotel.

A small property, not a large resort

Trip.com lists Standard, Superior and Deluxe double-room categories, with a refrigerator, television and private bathroom in the basic room description. The listing describes balconies or patios, a terrace and an outdoor pool. These give it a different character from a simple room in a commercial block, without making it a full-service resort.

The current listing has inconsistencies in some detailed fields, including transfers and certain view labels. Those should not be used as promises. Confirm any service or outlook that is important to the booking directly, especially if you need a late arrival arrangement. A room name alone does not establish a sea view from this inland address.

The recent reviews disagree strongly

Two dated Trip.com guest accounts describe very different experiences. A September 2026 guest liked being close to amenities while finding the property quiet. A November 2025 guest reported serious dissatisfaction with cleanliness, odour and room condition and said they left shortly after arrival.

That is too small and too divided a sample to describe a settled consensus about current rooms. Neither account proves the same condition applies to every allocation. For a prospective guest, the useful response is to look for recent photographs of the exact category and flexible terms, rather than allowing either one highly positive or one strongly negative account to stand for the whole property. The pool and smaller scale may appeal, but there is less consistent evidence here than for a well-documented larger hotel.
