Southern Patong rather than the nightlife doorstep
Coconut Village sits on Prachanukroh Road, with a pool and planted grounds giving it a small-resort feel. The practical attraction is the combination of nearby food, everyday shopping and access towards the southern part of Patong Beach. A convenience store immediately outside is repeatedly useful in guest descriptions, especially for families returning from a day out.
It is important not to translate a convenient Patong address into a promise of being beside every attraction. An August 2026 family found the beach convenient but thought Bangla Road and Jungceylon less convenient for repeated visits. If nightlife or shopping is the main purpose of the stay, that difference should be considered before the room price.
The pool shapes the stay
Room names in the guest accounts include Superior Pool View and Deluxe Pool View, which show why the relationship to the courtyard matters here. An August 2026 Deluxe guest liked the spacious room and breakfast. Another visitor that month praised daily cleaning, staff and the grounds while also describing the property as a little worn.
Those comments suggest an established resort rather than an immaculate new development. A pool-facing room may be a pleasant way to spend time on site, but a view label alone does not say how much activity you will hear or whether the room is on the ground floor. The exact location within the property deserves attention if your group expects quiet afternoons.

City view, tropical view and family space
Coconut Village’s room list is wider than the pool photograph suggests. Agoda identifies Standard City View at 28 square metres, Superior Pool Wing at 25 square metres and Grand Deluxe Pool View at 32 square metres. The Deluxe Tropical View is also listed at 32 square metres but looks towards the garden. These are differences in both space and surroundings, so paying more for a pool category is not the only way to change the stay.
The Grand Family Suite is listed at 65 square metres with two double beds and a pool outlook. The separate Family Suite listing gives 55 square metres with a double bed and two singles. Those bed arrangements can matter as much as the extra floor area: a family sharing two doubles and friends needing individual sleeping places are making different choices. A suite name by itself does not explain that difference.
Some booking platforms publish different areas for the family categories, so the dimensions should be tied to the exact offer rather than treated as interchangeable across every sales channel. The useful comparison is the room name, bedding and outlook together. In particular, a city-view Standard should not inherit the garden setting or bed layout shown in a family-suite gallery.
A restaurant alongside the pool routine
Agoda names Coco’s Terrace as an on-site dining venue, listing Thai and European dishes as well as pizza. The resort also appears on the Phuket Tourist Association’s member directory, which links to the official hotel website. Its identity is clear, but the room mix deserves a more careful look than treating it as one uniform small resort.
The room evidence and the mixed breakfast reports point to the same decision: choose the accommodation for the southern Patong setting and the space you will use. Dining on site can be convenient after swimming, but it is one option among the local food choices rather than the entire reason to stay.
A useful compromise for a mixed holiday
Guest feedback on breakfast varies. One family found it ordinary but enjoyed the fruit, while others described it more enthusiastically. That is a better basis for expectations than treating buffet breakfast as a reason to choose the hotel by itself. Compare whether it is included in your particular rate, especially when you may prefer eating outside.
The swimming pool receives substantial attention in the guest feedback, but it should not be assumed to be suitable for an unsupervised child. Room size, nearby shops and a manageable resort setting can make Coconut Village practical for a leisure stay. Its appeal is less clear for someone who wants to step directly into Bangla Road several times a day. The resort works best when the southern location is part of the plan, rather than a detail discovered after arrival.
