First, make sure it is the right Baramee
Baramee Resortel is at 266 Prabaramee Road on the northern side of Patong. It should not be confused with Baramee Hip Hotel on Phangmuang Sai Ko Road. The similar names can make guest comments seem contradictory when they actually refer to different properties. Check the address before using a review or photograph to make a decision.
The location has particular appeal for a traveller who likes northern Patong and wants restaurants and beach access nearby without booking beside Bangla Road. A May 2024 family guest appreciated nearby halal dining. Other visitors liked the surrounding services, but one found the walk to central shopping and nightlife less convenient. That is a difference in holiday priorities, rather than a simple question of whether the location is good.
The room sizes are worth comparing
The official room page lists categories of 28, 34 and 43 square metres, each with a balcony and en-suite bathroom. Twin Deluxe is described as 34 square metres, while Double Premier is the largest category. For friends sharing luggage space or a couple spending time on the balcony, those measurements are more useful than assuming every room is equally large.
A November 2024 Agoda guest particularly liked a corner allocation with two balconies. That is an individual room experience, not a feature to expect from every Superior booking. An August 2025 return guest in a Superior Twin liked the bed, room space and furnished balcony. If outdoor sitting space matters, confirm the category details instead of relying on the most attractive corner-room photograph.

The pool sits above street level
A February 2024 family account on Trip.com places the pool on the second floor and describes both sunny and shaded areas. The same guest found a lift useful when travelling with a stroller and was happy with a room facing away from the road. Those are useful practical observations, while the pool hours and exact access should be checked for a future stay.
The official facilities page lists a casual café and bar, pool bar and restaurant serving the main meals. A pool within a smaller hotel can be pleasant for a break between outings, but it is a different experience from a large resort with extensive grounds. Think about whether you want somewhere to cool off or whether a whole day around multiple pool areas is central to the holiday.
Useful cautions from guest accounts
Older Trip.com guests describe both comfortable clean rooms and rooms with ageing furniture. A 2024 visitor reported worn linen, while another thought the hotel was older but clean and liked the balcony and staff. These reports should be kept attached to their dates and room experiences, not turned into a claim that every room has the same condition.
An October 2024 guest found parking very limited. If you will have a rental car, confirm a space before assuming the word parking means a large dedicated lot. Wi-Fi is another specific concern: an August 2025 Agoda guest enjoyed the hotel but did not find the connection suitable for online work. A leisure guest checking messages and someone taking video meetings may judge that limitation very differently.
A smaller hotel with a clear role
Baramee Resortel is a reasonable candidate for guests who want a balcony, pool and a northern Patong base at a rate that compares favourably with larger resorts. Recent Agoda and Booking.com accounts also praise the beach access and value. The property’s appeal does not depend on pretending it is a secluded luxury complex.
Compare the exact room size, ask about a quieter facing if needed, and settle parking or reliable work connectivity in advance. Those are the details that can change the stay materially. If central nightlife is your main destination every evening, weigh the extra movement against the pool and room space that attracted you here in the first place.
