The tower and annex are not the same booking
Andaman Beach Suites is an established high-rise hotel in Patong, with the main building rising to 19 floors. The hotel’s official site makes panoramic sea views a defining feature of that tower. Its accommodation pages also identify a separate ABSC Annex Building with Superior rooms. That distinction matters more than simply seeing the hotel name on a booking confirmation.
If a high-floor sea outlook is the reason you are considering this property, make sure the selected category places you in the right building and explicitly includes the view. A lower-priced Superior room in an annex should not be expected to reproduce a photograph taken from the main tower. Conversely, someone who does not need the view may value a different category at the same property.
Room sizes change the comparison
The official description gives main-building accommodation from 40 square metres up to 120-square-metre two-bedroom family suites. A separate Super Deluxe page specifies 44–55 square metres with a sitting area, bathroom and balcony. That extra room can matter on a longer trip, especially when more than one person is sharing luggage space and spending time indoors.
The two-bedroom suites offer a different solution for a family or friends from squeezing everyone into one bedroom. Booking.com also lists a suite with a separate bedroom configuration. Check the exact occupancy and beds in the rate you choose; a large stated floor area does not automatically mean that every additional guest or breakfast is included. The value of the space depends on whether you need distinct sleeping areas or simply a larger double room.

What guests say about the outlook
Sea views recur in the 2026 Trip.com accounts. One August visitor enjoyed the ocean outlook and swimming pool, another liked the location and view but was unhappy with a staff interaction, and an October return guest again singled out the scenery. Those reports make the outlook a consistent reason to consider the main-building categories, without turning every part of the service into an unconditional promise.
An earlier 2023 family account described a clean, modern room, enjoyable pools and breakfast. It is useful historical context, but recent room photographs and your booked category deserve more weight than assuming every room has remained identical. In a hotel with more than one building, different reports can reflect genuinely different accommodation rather than contradictory judgements about the same room.
Pools and practical facilities
The current Trip.com listing includes an outdoor pool, children’s pool, gym, sauna and tennis court among the facilities. The official hotel site also identifies room service and a 24-hour reception. That gives the property more of an on-site holiday routine than a simple city bedroom, particularly for a family dividing time between swimming and outings.
Facility lists should still be read alongside the actual room choice. A family may prioritise easy access to the pool, while a couple may value a high-floor balcony more. If steps, building changes or the walk from the annex would affect the stay, get the route confirmed. A hotel offering a facility somewhere on its grounds does not establish that every room reaches it equally easily.
A clear reason to choose it
Andaman Beach Suites is most convincing when room space and a bay view are important enough to influence the booking. It is not directly on the sand; the beach is a separate walk through Patong. The official website and guest accounts give different walking estimates, so it is better to recognise the walk than rely on one precise minute count.
The choice becomes straightforward once the building, floor area and view are explicit. Compare the main tower with the annex as different options, rather than letting the cheapest rate inherit the most attractive photograph. That is the detail most likely to determine whether this hotel delivers the holiday you had in mind.
